It's a term you've probably seen on placards - but what actually is the 'Green New Deal?' 5 Live's Nihal Arthanayake put the question to journalist and activist Naomi Klein, described as 'the intellectual godmother of the Green New Deal'. She claims in her new book that world leaders could look to the past to save the future - implementing radical economic change similar to the approach taken by former US president Franklin D. Roosevelt in the 1930s.
