October is Black History Month in the UK and for Film Friday - we talk about a film that covers a little-spoken-about story in British History during the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s. British-Nigerian director Adewale Akkinnoye-Agbaje and Snowfall FX star Damson Idris about their 'Edinburgh Film Festival 2019' award-winning film 'Farming' based on Adewale’s childhood. 'Farming' tells a story of a young Nigerian boy, 'farmed out' by his parents to a white British family in the hope of a better future. Instead, he suffers racism, bullying and becomes the feared leader of a white skinhead gang.
