Fury over 'dead Parliament' comments

Today in Parliament

Available for over a year

The Attorney General Geoffrey Cox - whose legal advice on prorogation was rejected by the Supreme Court - has declared this Parliament to be "dead". In some furious exchanges, Mr Cox said Opposition MPs were scared of a general election. They accused him of having no "shame" after the suspension of Parliament was judged to "unlawful, void and of no effect". Kristiina Cooper reports. You can hear more from Today in Parliament at 11.30pm on Radio 4.
