What is stress, what happens to our bodies when we are stressed, and what are the warning signs we should be looking for? We’ll be tackling this and more during this episode. Dr. Radha is joined by Dr. Alex George and exam survivor Megan to talk about their own experiences of exam stress. Megan failed to look after herself during her exams and admits to constantly comparing herself to her friends. She sheds light on how she got to this stage and the warning signs that you are on the way to burn out. Now at university, she’s turned things around and exam time is a lot less stressful. We hear some great stress-busting tips from Megan and Dr. Alex George. Psychologist Honey Langcaster-James delivers our 90 second masterclass, as we get the lowdown on the psychology of stress, what happens to our bodies when we feel stress and why we get stressed in the first place. We also hear from exam survivor Calum who put himself under a lot of pressure to revise every single minute of the day during exam time. Calum explains why it is important to take breaks when you’re revising and gives his top tips on how to look after yourself during your exams.
