On social media – on Instagram and Pinterest in particular – gardening has taken off in a big way. At the RHS Hampton Court Palace Flower Show, one garden tried to demonstrate the gulf between real gardens and those on social media. Melanie Abbott went to see it with the designer Polly Wilkinson.
