Autonomous cars of the future could give us more time to relax and entertain ourselves. Car maker Renault has imagined a future where virtual reality will take our minds off the journey by transporting us to alternative dimensions. With the aid of a backup driver and in controlled conditions, the BBC’s Theo Leggett went to northern France to give their Symbioz concept car a spin.
