Introducing TRIP: Traditional Scottish folk with a twist

World on 3

Available for over a year

It's hard not to smile during this set of a "goofy" hornpipe and two rip-roaring reels, performed by one half of Glasgow-based folk band (and new BBC Introducing group) TRIP. First year Royal Conservatoire of Scotland students Rory Matheson, Tiernan Courell and Craig Baxter played a set of traditional and modern Celtic folk tunes on keyboard, whistle and bodhrán, live at the BBC Blue Tent in Edinburgh, as part of Radio 3's coverage at the Festival and Fringe.
