How was Sir Rod Stewart booked to headline the Isle of Wight Festival?

Sir Rod Stewart will headline the main stage on Sunday evening. The 71-year-old singer will be closing the festival, with Arcade Fire playing on the Saturday night. Previous headliners at the festival include Queen and The Who. The four-day festival at Seaclose Park, Newport runs from 8-11 June 2017.
