The beavers of Knapdale

Euan McIlwraith hears how four beaver families were reintroduced into the Argyll countryside from Scandinavia. This was an experiment in reintroduction, and they were carefully watched by wildlife scientists to check how they were getting on. Since the making of this programme, the project has been deemed a success by the Scottish government and the beavers are here to stay.
