The ExoMars Rover is equipped with a 2 metre drill, a microscope, ground-penetrating radar and an on-board laboratory. It is scheduled to land on Mars and search for life in 2021. Long: The ExoMars Rover is the most sophisticated life-detection machine ever built for a mission to Mars. The European and Russian space agencies will launch it to the Red Planet in 2020.
