Sarah and Mary: It's Not Called the Lake District for Nothing

The Listening Project

Available for over a year

Living in Cumbria is not without its challenges and one of them has to be the weather. That old saying "its not called the Lake District for nothing", might explain why we have so much rain here. But sometimes you have to see the rain to believe it, and it does stretch the patience of those uninitiated. Sarah who hails from Bristol, and her friend Mary, who comes from Hertfordshire, are still getting used to living here. They both met through the choir she directs, and they learned early on to always take the weather with them . . . . and an umbrella.
