"I can use a voice over internet programme called Skype and we can see each other with video and talk to each other - and it costs me nothing," says Kai, who keeps in touch with family all over the world from his home in Dominica. Amna, a student in Canada, uses voice over internet technology and orders gifts for her family in Pakistan over the Internet. In existence for just 15 years, the world wide web has already changed our lives radically. This clip is taken from an episode of Digital Planet from 2006.
