Indian visitors face tough visa rules

Kaval Vaseer

Available for over a year

A legal expert says visitors from India could face tougher visa rules in the future. The British Prime Minister Theresa May met with her Indian counterpart Narendra Modi this week to discuss the issue, as well as looking at improving the UK's trade with India. Mrs May says an expansion of the Indian visa rules would be considered if Indians who overstayed their visas in the UK could be returned more swiftly and in greater numbers. Harjap Bhangal is an immigration lawyer and has been speaking to BBC presenter Kaval Vasser about the fallout from the discussions
