Grandmother's footsteps - Pauline and Lucy

Pauline is Lucy’s grandmother. They bonded shortly after Lucy’s birth with Pauline remembering how the baby’s eyes ‘bored’ into her. Lucy spent her summers with her grandmother being introduced to kites and to National Trust teas. Now Lucy refers to Pauline as ‘Silver Spice’ and they drink cocktails and listen to jazz.
