Jamie Lidell chats to Mary Anne Hobbs about his sixth studio album, Building a Beginning and his career as a co-writer which earned him a Grammy for his work with Lianne La Havas. Born in Huntingdon, he's since relocated to Nashville, Tennessee. Part soul singer, part beat boxer, with some describing him as a modern one-man band. He uses layering and technology to make his unique sound.
