Anthony Ervin: "I had to pick myself up"

Today In Rio

Available for over a year

Anthony Ervin won his first Olympic medal in Sydney in 2000, but subsequently lost his way. After an eight year break tackling substance abuse and mental health issues, Ervin returned to the sport with renewed commitment at the London 2012 Olympics. And now, at the age of 35 he has won gold once again at Rio. He's been speaking to the BBC's Ben James about life after his first success in Sydney. (Photo: Anthony Ervin wins gold in Rio.
