Understanding the Refugee Crisis via Virtual Reality

Tina visits London’s Somerset House to take part in The Machine to Be Another, a virtual reality experience which simulates life in the Jungle refugee camp in Calais. She speaks to the founders of Good Chance, a theatre company which aims to encourage dialogue about the refugee crisis. Also, as America reacts to the news that no charges will be brought against police over the death of Baltimore man Freddie Gray, Baltimore based crime novelist Laura Lippman reflects on her decision not to reference his case in her fiction, and Ken Nishikawa reports from a visit to the first ever exhibition dedicated to novelist Haruki Murakami.
