The sound of hate in the USA

Audiographs: The news through sound

Available for over a year

In June, President Obama visited Orlando to pay respect to those who lost family and friends in the worst mass shooting in American history. Forty-nine people died and another 50 were hospitalised when a man opened fire on a crowded gay bar. Mr Obama has called it "an act of terror and an act of hate". Neal Razzell of our audiographic department has been looking the targets of hate in America.
