Shakespeare's will has 'very wobbly signature'

Today

Available for over a year

William Shakespeare's last will and testament is on display in Stratford-upon-Avon for the first time since it was written 400 years ago. It will only be on show there for three weeks before it is hidden away again to stop it fading. Dr Katy Mair is head of early modern records at the National Archives and told Sarah Montague that his signature could have been the last thing he had ever written. Paul Taylor is head of collections at the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust and spoke about how they plan to protect this "priceless" document. (Image: Shakespeare's will on display.
