Hayley Clarke reports on the Deep Minimalism festival which took place at the Southbank Centre in June. The event featured works for 23 stringed instruments by John Cage, ‘Rock Piece’ by Pauline Oliveros and Daphne Oram's never before performed ‘Still Point’; brought to life by the London Contemporary Orchestra and composer Shiva Feshareki.
