Does tennis have a body image issue?

Today At Wimbledon

Available for over a year

Former WTA tour professional Naomi Cavaday discusses how the sexualisation of women's tennis affected her health. The former British player struggled with depression and eating disorders early in her playing career causing her to retire from professional tennis at 21-years-old. She told Today at Wimbledon's Paddy O'Connell that during that period she found playing tennis "irritating and distracting" as she "wanted to focus" on losing weight. Cavaday believes there is "too much focus" on female players' appearance and that players should be allowed to "create a game style that matches their body type".
