Outlook Inspirations nominee Andre Bauma is a ranger at the Virunga National Park which is home to around a quarter of the world’s critically endangered species of mountain gorillas. But even inside the park, the gorillas are sometimes targeted by poachers or militias. When one particular family group was attacked, Andre Bauma took in the orphaned baby gorillas to raise himself.
