As part of the inexorable drive for global culture, there’s a growing number of Chinese toddlers who are learning about the world through shows such as the British pre-school series, Teletubbies. We hear from 28-year-old Li Chae, who says that she wants her three-year-old daughter to know that the Chinese way of life is not the only way, so that she won’t be scared to live and work among other nationalities in adulthood. This final programme in a series of four looks at the concepts of globalisation and discovers what the ‘me’ generation feels about the outside world. Presented by Carrie Gracie.
