Laurie Anderson Strips It Back

The Ticket

Available for over a year

Actor/director/artist Laurie Anderson's latest show is called Happiness and consists of her telling stories from her own life alone on stage. She explains why this show is stripped down and avoids her usual love of gadgetry. Also on the programme: Margaret Atwood's novel The Handmaid's Tale turned into an opera; and a hip-hop rendition of Shakespeare. The 'culture vulture' comes from the Cannes International Film Festival, looking at the movers and shakers there.
