Israel's feral cat problem

Israel has a feral cat problem, with as many as two million feral cats living rough and scavenging for food around the country. A neutering programme run by an animal charity has been keeping the numbers down but this year faced a challenge from a right-wing, religious Agriculture Minister Uri Ariel, who felt that it was against Jewish ethical principles to spend Israeli state money on interfering with the reproductive cycle. Middle East correspondent Kevin Connolly reports.
