In the late summer of 1976, Lotus Cars released the first batch of Esprit's...James Bond was even issued with a white one that could turn into a submarine! Back in the real world, the public were getting to see the cars in the flesh and they were on the front covers of motoring magazines worldwide. One of the first batch of cars ended up at Highcliff Motors in Grimsby and while it was there it was used for a photo-shoot. Now the car's current owner is looking to re-create that photo shoot - Gordon Masson tells Burnsy why he's hunting for the model in this photograph...
