Martin Neary, former organist of Winchester Cathedral and Westminster Abbey, was organ scholar at Gonville & Caius College, Cambridge, adjacent to King's. He recalls being recruited to help out at King’s under the firm hand of David Willcocks, and he also tells a more recent story of Sir David conducting in his nineties.
