A journalist who was at the Stade de France on Friday has told 5 live the French people will “feel a real gratitude for a really long time” after their match with England at Wembley Stadium. Vincent Duluc, who is a French football journalist for L’Equipe, was at the Stade de France when three suicide bombers tried to enter the stadium. Tonight, Mr Duluc is at Wembley Stadium, which is lit up with the French flag and where England supporters will sing la Marseillaise alongside the French supporters. Mr Duluc went on to say the French people “don’t want to be afraid” and that tonight’s match will give the nation “some warmth to the heart”.
