Dr David Abdulai, the 'mad doctor of Tamale' acquired his nickname because of his work with psychiatric patients. He has been honoured with a Grand Medal national award by President Rawlings in recognition of his work with the destitute people of Tamale, Northern Ghana. Ofeibea Quist-Arcton meets Dr Abdulai.
