Jeff Franzen was six years old when he witnessed the assassination of President John F Kennedy. Here he discusses his memories of that day. "As they started coming down the hill, they slowed a little bit and you could hear a loud pop, which to me at the time, sounded like fire crackers... and then the car came even closer to us, which was by then maybe less than 10 to 15 yards away, and there was another pop and there was a great deal of what I thought at the time was confetti, exploding from the car."
