It was a long day of erratic trading in US markets today, that marked the biggest single-day gains in the Dow Jones Industrial Average and the S&P 500 since 2011. But with the record rise on Wall Street after the record fall, what does the upheaval say about China's effect on the global economy and its political future? We speak to Anne Stevenson Yang of J Capital Research in New York. A dramatic shooting live on US TV - two journalists killed by a former colleague, we get the latest on the story from the BBC's Laura Bicker in Washington. And dramatic scenes on the border of Colombia and Venezuela as more than a thousand Colombians are deported. We've sent the BBC's correspondents in both countries to their respective sides of the border to find out the real story. Daniel Pardo from the Venezuelan side and the BBC's Natalio Cosoy, reporting from Cucuta in Colombia. Facebook has begun testing something called M. It's a voice assistant like Siri by Apple and Cortana by Microsoft but with one crucial difference - it is, according to Facebook "powered by artificial intelligence that's trained and supervised by people." So will it catch on in a way the others haven't? And we're joined throughout the programme by two guests on opposite sides of the Pacific David Kuo of the Motley Fool - who's in Singapore and Gilonne d'Origny, Head of New Harvest in New York.
