Living with lupus

Jodi Law

Available for over a year

When your children hit those teenage years you begin to see a gradual change. For one Nottinghamshire mum what she thought were general teenage issues turned out to be much more serious for her 14 year-old daughter. Earlier this year Amarah Bryan-Brown was diagnosed with lupus, a condition which is more common amongst African Caribbean people. In this extract her mum Sharon Bryan tells BBC Radio Nottingham's Jodi Law what it was like to hear the diagnosis.
