5 Live In Short

Available for over a year

England wicketkeeper Matt Prior has announced his retirement from all forms of cricket. The 33-year-old, who won 79 Test caps, helped England to three Ashes series victories between 2009 and 2013. We spoke to Prior’s former teammate, Stuart Broad who talked about the career of the former England wicketkeeper and his decision to retire. ”He was the heartbeat of the fielding team, he was in charge of making sure we had energy [..] and he was exceptional at that” said Broad. This clip is originally from 5 live Sport on Thursday 11 June.
