Alton Towers park owner: 'I simply do not know what made accident happen'

Alton Towers will remain closed on June 3, after the accident on one of its rollercoasters severely injured four people. One of them is reported to have lost a leg after a carriage with 16 passengers, half-way up a slope, crashed back into an empty carriage on the same track. It took five hours to release all those trapped on the Smiler ride.
