More than 7,000 migrants have been rescued from overcrowded boats crossing the Mediterranean to Europe since Friday. The charity Medecins sans Frontieres is running its own operation in the Mediterranean. We've asked Erna Rijnierse, an MSF doctor aboard a rescue ship - or Migrant Offshore Aid Station (MOAS) - to record a diary of her experience for us. Here is her account of the weekend's events.
