UK Election 2015: The Conservative Party

World Business Report

Available for over a year

The UK economy is relatively strong. But the Conservative Party, which has led the coalition government for the past five years, isn't reaping the full benefit in the polls. That might be because British output, or GDP, per head of the population has actually fallen. Not everyone, it seems, is feeling prosperous. For the last in our series of pre-election interviews, the BBC's Dominic Laurie spoke to Daniel Hannan, a Conservative member of the European Parliament. (Image: Daniel Hannan, Getty)
