UK Election 2015: The Liberal Democrats

World Business Report

Available for over a year

Five years ago the centrist Liberal Democrat party was riding high in the polls. Their leader Nick Clegg was on the verge of becoming the first in decades to shepherd his party into government with David Cameron's Conservatives. But during government the party's poll ratings have slumped. They've been accused by many of abandoning pledges and playing along with a right wing manifesto they never signed up to. Danny Alexander talked about the party's achievements and its critics with the BBC's Dominic Laurie. (Image: Danny Alexander, Getty Images)
