Racial attitudes in Britain

Today

Available for over a year

Our reporter Zoe Conway has asked people in Epping Forest, Essex about how we should talk about race and religion in this country. There's frustration for several of the residents about the nature of the debate about race and religion. "We don’t talk openly about race because we're scared of being branded racist. There are concerns people have about immigration and ISIS", said one resident. Some residents also feel that politicians need to be more honest about the issues that immigration causes. "The influx of immigrants causes problems for the school and health systems".
