We've long suspected that cycling is a bright idea, but now the bike mad nation of Netherlands are proving it! The country's is home to the world's first.. public solar cycle lane. It's designed to capture the heat from the sun and transform it into electrical energy. It cost around 3.7 million dollars and is mostly funded by the local council.
