The impact of abuse: Jimmy and Andy

Jimmy and Andrew were sexually abused when they were children by the same man - but they grew up unaware of each other. As adults they went to the Police to report the abuse. They met for the first time when they gave evidence against their abuser in his trial. He was jailed earlier this year and they've waived their right to anonymity to speak about about the abuse they suffered. Since the trial they have supported each other and formed a friendship that is helping them both come to terms with the events of the past.
