Liberal Democrat MP Mark Hunter has said Lord Oakeshott has "done the decent thing" in resigning over criticising Nick Clegg's leadership. Lord Oakeshott said the Lib Dems were "heading for disaster" under Clegg - who has accused him of seeking to undermine the party by commissioning an opinion poll suggesting the Liberal Democrats would do better with a different leader.
