Lower air tax on Caribbean flights

Dotun Adebayo

Available for over a year

UK passengers on some long-haul flights are set to pay less tax following a revamp of Air Passenger Duty (APD). The two highest of the four APD tax bands are to be scrapped, the chancellor announced. The reforms mean passengers on long-haul flights to the Caribbean islands will pay a lower tax rate from 2015. But what impact will the move have on travel to the Caribbean? In this clip, the BBC's Dotun Adebayo speaks to Richard Sealey, the Minister of Tourism and International Transport in Barbados.
