BBC television commentary on snowboarder Jenny Jones victory in the Winter Olympics was "perhaps a little OTT" and "over-excitable" commentators Henry Blofeld and Barry Davies have said. Over 300 people complained to the BBC about the coverage during the snowboarding slopestyle final by British snowboarder Aimee Fuller and commentators Ed Leigh and Tim Warwood. Jenny Jones took bronze in the event winning Great Britain's first Olympic medal on the snow. "The whole effect was terrific" said Test Match Special commentator Henry Blofeld, adding that "one's got to maintain a certain amount of balance."
