Around 34 thousand drivers in Leicester will have to find a new route into work this morning... The Belgrave flyover - the concrete road-in-the-sky which links Belgrave Road to the city centre - closed for ever at midnight on Friday as work starts on demolishing this giant piece of seventies architecture. It's been a busy route in and out the Leicester for the last 40 years or so. City Council's Head of Highways Martin Fletcher on the site of the Belgrave Flyover.
