In what's been called the greatest civil engineering project since the Victorian era, part of the Government-backed 350-mile High Speed 2 line would pass through parts of North West Leicestershire. And that's prompting strong opposition locally, with widespread calls for the ambitious project to be scrapped. A roadshow rolls into Ashby de la Zouch to try to unpick misconceptions and promote the benefits of HS2. But, while it may pass through north west Leicestershire on its way from London to Leeds, it won't actually stop here. We've been speaking to Rosie Featherstone who is a committee Member for the Tonge and Breedon HS2 Action group.....
