75 years ago H. G. Wells' War Of The Worlds was broadcast on CBS Radio in America, narrated by film maker Orson Welles. It was a landmark event in radio drama. Over a million people fled into hiding thinking the drama, about an alien invasion, was real. Perry Spiller chats to Dr Stephen McVeigh of Swansea University about the hysterical events during the broadcast.
