Dr Steven McVeigh: War Of The Worlds

75 years ago H. G. Wells' War Of The Worlds was broadcast on CBS Radio in America, narrated by film maker Orson Welles. It was a landmark event in radio drama. Over a million people fled into hiding thinking the drama, about an alien invasion, was real.
