Both are full-time carers because Shab is blind, Rob is partially sighted, and they have a fourteen year old autistic son. They deal positively with their disability's, but its Rob's bi-polar disorder that has undermined their independence most. In the past Rob battled his depression on his own, but it has become too much for him to cope with, and he is now getting help.The Listening Project has given Rob the first opportunity to talk openly to Shab about his depression and about living with the women he loves...
