Food Chains and the Weather

Scotland’s Wildlife

Available for over a year

Every living thing needs fuel to keep going, and complex food chains have evolved so that every organism can get what it needs. These involve both animals and plants, and there's constant drama as each organism fights to survive, and not become another one’s dinner. These food chains are linked in with the climate, and when the weather changes, it can have a huge effect. However, regardless of the weather, there are many things we can do to support wildlife in our gardens or schools.
