Rod Stewart is inducted into the Singers Hall of Fame

Sunday Night with Michael Ball

Available for over a year

Nominator: Jane Harrison From: Farnborough Jane has her nomination of Rod Stewart inducted into the Singers Hall of Fame on Sunday Night with Michael Ball. Why: "I first saw Rod perform as part of The Steam Packet, with Long John Baldry and Julie Driscoll, at the Bristol Corn Exchange in 1965, when I was just 15. Even then, Rod had 'something,' and I will always remember my boyfriend of the time being jealous of my fascination with him. Over the years I have followed Rod through the 'highs and lows' of his career and have probably been to see him in concert about 40 times, if not more, including a trip to see him at The Colosseum, Caesar's Palace, Las Vegas. He is a great live performer, giving his all and making everyone feel as if they are his guest at one big party." Couldn't agree more, thank-you Jane!
